SuperSmart BMS™
The BMS is the most critical component in a lithium battery. A well-designed BMS protects and monitors a lithium battery to optimize performance, maximize life, and ensure safe operation over a wide range of conditions. InSight Series batteries feature a one-of-a-kind BMS that hosts intuitive software, providing Bullseye Balancing within a battery and between batteries in a parallel system without the need for charging batteries individually.
Bullseye Balancing™
The innovative algorithms within InSight's SuperSmart BMS provides precise balancing within a battery and between batteries in a parallel system without the need for charging batteries individually. This optimizes performance, providing maximum capacity and life.
Intelligent Cooling
Unlike other lithium batteries that can trap heat, the InSight Series uses a carefully engineered cooling management system to quickly remove heat from inside the battery during conditions of high discharge and recharge currents. This prevents over-heating of critical components, which also extends the life of the battery.
High demand applications often require high currents. With InSight’s strategically placed heatsink you can run at high currents without compromising the life of your battery or BMS.
InSight Series® batteries include LED indicators to show the state of charge and battery status. Ideal for assessing battery status at a glance.
Each RELiON InSight Series® battery includes built-in CANbus communication that provides manufacturing, application, and historical data. In OEM applications, the battery can communicate with the motor controller.
A power button, located next to the LED Status Indicators, is used to activate, request the SOC, reset, and turn off the battery.
