RELiON® Battery Partners with Nonprofit Well Aware to Provide Clean Water to communities in Kenya
Menomonee Falls, Wis. – RELiON® Battery, a global leader in the development of lithium batteries, has announced a partnership with Well Aware, a nonprofit organization committed to funding and implementing clean water systems to drive development and empower communities in East Africa.

Nearly one billion people lack access to clean water. The scarcity of clean water inhibits individuals, families and entire communities from leading healthy lives. Without clean water, education cannot thrive, gender inequality grows, economic activity becomes stagnant, and development is stifled. Since its inception in 2008, Well Aware has built 110 water systems with a 100% success rate, impacting more than 348,000 lives and increasing education rates by 34%.
